How to Create Quick and Easy Cat Eyes

Sometimes you are in a hurry and have to rush through your makeup routine in order to get your butt out the door, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still do a fabulous look. Here is a quick way to apply cat eyes.

Start, as always with clean, well moisturized skin. Add your primer, concealer, and/or base.

Begin by applying a shadow that is slightly darker than your skin tone from your lash line to your brow bone.

Take a slightly darker color from the very edge of your lash line to the center of your crease and blend well. You don’t have to go too dark here as your liner is what will really make this look pop.

Next, add your dark liner from the outer corner of your eye towards the center. Stop before the center of your eye. Thicken the outer edge of the liner at the outer corner of your eye and bring to a finer point towards the center of your eye. You can extend the line out past your eye and up towards your brow to accentuate the look, but don’t go too high unless you are really trying to make a statement.

If you flip the tip of the line up slightly you will make this line blend well with your lashes.

The darker the color and the thicker the line the more dramatic the look.

If you want to accentuate an arched brow use a lighter skin tone in a pearl or shimmer shade applied to just the tip or your brow bone and blend lightly.

Add your mascara to your outer lashes.

I also very lightly add a little liner to my outer lower lash line. You can choose to do this or not.

And there you have it. This took about six minutes and I would be fine going out for the evening if I was in a rush. I hope this helps you create your new look. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for reading!
